Awesome book! You must read it. :D
I have an interview with Susan coming, so check back. And I'll review this wonderful piece of work too.
Hi! I'm so excited to have a place where I can share some of my favorite things with you. There will be devotionals, writing articles, Book Reviews (some will be books sent to me for review, some will be books I purchased myself, but whichever way I get the books, I always post a true review), installments of the James Chronicles, and on occasion a Ramblin' post. Hope you enjoy and come back often.

Book Drawing Winners
I can't get on my website to update the records there, so instead I will share it here and get back to writing. Still a long way to go, it feels like. Sigh.
Rose McCauley won Hearts on the Line by Margaret Daley
Marion Bullock won Land's End by Marta Perry
This month I will be cleaning out my entries and starting over for next month's drawing.
Have a great day everyone.

Uh, hi guys
I'm really sorry about leaving this for so long. Life happened. Lots of stuff in life going nuts. And I am working on a couple of deadlines (writing but not big deal stuff, lol), but I couldn't just leave you guys hanging (read that: procrastinating).
Anyway, ds1 and I peered into the woods. Ds2 kept a lookout (or maybe he didn't want to risk ticks and poison ivy). Ds1 and I have overactive imaginations though. Briars scratched, branches pulled and ....The smell dissipated. Hmmm. My son was thrashing about somewhere nearby and I called, "I don't smell it now." He didn't answer but he was down by a small creek. So I tried backtracking, but I couldn't go back the way I came. I looped around and came up back on the sidewalk with ds2.
"I didn't find anything." I called to my oldest son, who I could still hear, but not see yet. Finally I saw a little bit of his shirt through the trees.
"I found it."
I hesitated and swallowed hard. "Um, do I need to call the police?" I started plowing through the trees to get to my kid.
"Nope."
My knees nearly buckled in relief. No one had died. Yeah! Of course we weren't out of the woods yet (figuratively or actually) because if it was a big animal we'd need to call animal control to get it. Didn't the people that lived in that house smell the smell? (In my overactive imagination, before I found out it wasn't person....Well, they were likely suspects you know? lol)
"What is it?"
To be honest, even with me looking at it also, we never could tell if it was two or if one had simply been....Spread out by scavengers.
All that imagination and trouble over a possum or two. Sigh.
And it still stinks there. Ick.
Not that I have been down there recently (and my thighs show it) because I have been so busy, but since starting back to work I have noticed a difference so that is good.
Okay, now back to the writing. I'm going to post a couple of pics from out camping trip soon, and tell you some fun stories. The James family cannot go camping and come back WITHOUT fun stories. The strangest stuff happens to us.
Hugs!
