Hey Dad, lookeee

I'm updating! LOL!

My wonderful fil checks my blog everyday. He's such fine man that I just drop the in-law and claim as my own. He hasn't objected yet, though I may have thoroughly embarrassed him by now. :D

As I embark on my new life sans board duties, I'm going to be revamping this blog. Or how I post at any rate.

I'd like to do giveaways, writing tips, reviews, and personal updates. I'm not sure what order I plan to put these in but here's what I might do:

Mondays-devos and thoughts on scripture or life lessons (hey not everyone has to learn the hard way)
Tuesday-writing advice or discussion
Wednesday-Reviews or interviews if I have any
Thursdays-giveaways. I have a load of gently used books that my husband would love me to get rid of.
Fridays-personal updates on my life and writing journey

I hope you all have a wonderful New Year's Eve Celebration. Stay safe.

And have a wonderful New Year! 2009 here we come.

Living Rich for Less

by Ellie Kay

Cha Ching!
With lively humor, proven know-how, and practical principles for financial health, Living Rich for Less helps you stretch your dollars to realize the lifestyle of your dreams. Ellie Kay's entertaining and enlightening examples show you simple steps to give, save, and spend smart. Her three main principles are under-girded by dozens of effective rules and hundreds of Cha Ching Factor tips that keep or put money in your pocket.
Ellie knows what it's like to be financially-strapped or struggling. She went, within two and a half years, from being $40,000 in consumer debt to being completely debt-free; within fifteen years she shares how she was able to pay cash for eleven different cars, give away three of those cars, buy two five-bedroom houses, take wonderful vacations, and support more than thirty non-profit organizations, giving away more than $100,000.

Isn't that the rich life you want?
Living Rich for Less helps anyone get there in our taxed-out, maxed-out times. Because financial security doesn't mean just genuine prosperity, but being able to live luxuriously, give generously, and care for yourself as well as those around you.

Why keep up with the Joneses when you can be them?

Pammer here: This book is fabulous. It's non-fiction, self-help, but it sucked me in like a fiction book would. She gives wonderful tips in an engaging manner. I'm already putting things into action and can't wait to see the results. I'm also sharing these tips with my oldest son since he is holding down a job while attending school and helping with his girlfriend's cost when needed.

I have one extra book and if anyone is interested, leave a comment and I'll send you the book. Leave me your email address written like name at ispprovider dot com so I can get in touch with you. If I get more than one comment, I'll draw names.

Have a great evening.
